She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer C. Bentsen and Marie J. Nessen Bentsen; her brother Ted Bentsen of McAllen; and her son David Benton of Dallas. She is survived by: her children, Don "Dink" Benton (Shelley) of Clarksville, Donna Benton of Dallas and Dallas Benton (Stacy) of Richardson; and her brother Calvin. She is also survived by her husband, four children.
