Ronald Eugene Manthey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Eugene Manthey of Dallas, Texas, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Manthey; his daughters, Katharine Manthey and Alison Manthey Acuy; his son-in-law Victor Acuy; his granddaughters, Olivia Acuy and Ella Acuy; and also, Mandy Smith, Lin Schraeder, Don Manthey and Dave Manthey. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Episcopal Church of Ascension (8787 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243). Following his retirement from Morgan Lewis in 2018, Ron provided consulting services on executive compensation to public and private companies and offered his skills as a lawyer pro bono, including helping inmates seeking better conditions in federal prison during the COVID pandemic.
