He was predeceased by: his father Edwin R. York, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Sara York (Buckner); his siblings, Elise York McGarrah (Mark) and Scott York (Kristin); his children, Breanna Lauren York Butler (Michael), Sara Katheryn York Metcalfe (Cole), Anna Elizabeth York and Zane Edwin York; and his grandchildren, Brantley and Bowen. He is also survived by six nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Robert to Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas.
