He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Abernethy and Mignon Abernethy; his brother William Abernethy; and his son-in-law Rob Pauken. He is survived by: his son Richard B. Abernethy (Aimee); his wife Linda White; his daughter Anne Pauken; his grandchildren, Taylor Beverly (Joshua) and Jonathon Pauken (Sydney Pauken); his children, Madelyn and Charles Abernethy (Kathy); and his grandchild Alivia.
