He was predeceased by: his father John Anton. He is survived by: his mother Selma Anton (Kerry Anton); his wife Karen Marie Houlihan (Kerry); his children, Kate, Meghan Anton and Matthew Anton (Claudia); his granddaughter Jacqueline Anton; and his pets, Bruno and Lola.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
