She is survived by: her husband Russ Hanssens; her sisters, Jane McWilliams and Barb Sauer; her daughter Heather Harris; and her granddaughter Meghan Harris.
In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks that those who wish, will make a donation in her name to one of the following foundations: American Diabetes Association, Make-A-Wish, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
