With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Lester Melnick (Dallas, Texas), who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia; his daughters, Sara Melnick Albert (Mark), Leslie Melnick Diers (Bryan) and Julie Melnick Dearien (Jim); his grandchildren, Meredith Diers, Claire Albert Dowling (Dave), Jaclyn Dearien Terwey (Sean), Tracy Diers Davy (Darryl) and Josef Albert (Kyannah); his great grandchildren, Will, Alex, Kate Terwey and Jude Albert; his parents, Fanny Melnick and Nathan Melnick; and his siblings, Marvin Melnick, Jerome Melnick and Cissie Winters.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Temple Emanu-El (8500 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75225).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Temple Emanu-El, Honor Flight, or a charity of your choice.
