He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emery Dalbey Crites and Margaret Isabel King; his wife Grace Elizabeth Nolen of New Braunfels; his daughters, Catherine Swena (Stanley) of Houston, Jennifer McCollum (Mark) of Waco, Elisabeth Crites of New Braunfels and Amanda Holland (Brad) of Waco; his grandchildren, Matthew McCollum (Courtney), Madeline McCollum, Georgie Holland, Georgia Hamby, Hank Holland and Hudson Hamby; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Kate, Leighton, Jackson and Sloane McCollum.
