She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Winston C. Power Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Russell Power and Ashley Power Gomez; her son-in-law JJ Gomez; and her grandchildren, Major Power, Scout Gomez and Harper Gomez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (221 W 5th St, Rusk, TX 75785). A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the E. L. Russell Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Park Cities Baptist Church (3933 Northwest Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Nancy's memory to Park Cities Baptist Church or First Baptist Church in Rusk, in honor of her enduring spirit and love of the Lord.
