He is survived by: his wife Michela; his daughter Gina Leonard; his son-in-law Paul; his grandsons, Gavin and Zachary; his sisters, Rosella Heumann and Suzanne Achleitner; and his stepson Chase. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom in Arlington Texas.
