He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Michael Smith Lowther (ShayLyn) of Dallas, TX, Gwen Garlington (Randy) of Nevada, TX and Melony George (Lewis) of Richardson, TX; his grandchildren, Seth Lowther (Megan), Molly Hykel (Steven), Elisabeth Garlington, Randal "Chris" Garlington, Jennifer Fountain and Roland George; his great grandchildren, Shiloh, Max and Piper Hykel; and his sister-in-law Wanda Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
