He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" G. Gromatzky and Esther Ruth Moerbe; his brother Paul (Beatrice); his wife Dorotha Lee Cain; his daughter Lynda; and his sons-in-law, Bo Shira, Dean Morgan and Rusty Marten.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jessie Conway; his daughter Carolyn; his stepchildren, Lance Armstrong (Toyah) and Cheryl Marten; and his grandchildren, Kelly Roberts (Dodd), Jeff Kaminski (Laurie), Paige Weis (Jay) and Matt Cooper (Sarah). He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews, nine great grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, six step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
