He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Ventura and Elisa Ventura; his wife Carmen Ventura; his sisters, Mary Helen Juarez and Lupe Escamilla; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Sotero and Raymond Fraga.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Alice Castillo (Paul Leija), Richard Ventura and Robert Ventura; his siblings, Daniel Ventura (Sara), Paul Ventura, Tomas Ventura (Darlene), Ramona Sotero, Jessie Carrasco (Edward), Margaret Fraga and Vera Ventura; and his grandchildren, Mary Alice Castillo, Abel Delgado, Cord, Rocio Castillo, Ashley Ventura and Robert Ventura Jr.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
