He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Sr. Betancourt and Juanita Betancourt (Caraveo); his wife Guadalupe Betancourt; his siblings, Victor Betancourt Jr., Frank Betancourt, Marcos Betancourt, Janie Ramos and Antonia Campos; his granddaughter Roxanne Rodriguez; and his great grandchild Elyette Grace Subealdea.
He is survived by: his children, Primitivo Betancourt, Gloria Sterling (David), Grace Subealdea (Frank) and Lynn Halligan (Murdock); his siblings, Fernando Betancourt, Joe Betancourt and Rosario Falcon; and his grandchildren, Jackie Ramirez (Juan), LaToya Allan (Moe), Curtis Rodriguez (Jewels), Isaiah Subealdea (Kari), Daniel Subealdea (Chelsea), Noe Subealdea, Jarius Halligan, Jerin Halligan and Krece Halligan. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
