She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Norton and Willie Norton; her husband Ernie Martin; her aunt Delia; her uncle Guy Barton; her mother-in-law Eula Bell Armstrong; her brothers, Lawton Norton (Catherine) and Watson Norton (Earlene); and her niece Susan Martin (Bob).

She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Salmon (Richard) and Carol Kilby; her grandchildren, Christine Ellis (Garrett), Keith Salmon (Kaki), James Salmon (Shannon), Trea Kilby (Leah) and Clara Edwards; her great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Parker, Brooks Ellis, Abby, Luke Salmon, Paige, Lainey Salmon, Madison and Harper Edwards; and her nephew Jim Norton (Sue). She is also survived by several great-nephews and a niece; plus a great-great-nephews and niece.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Dallas Arboretum, or Dallas Area Parkinson's Society.
