Lona Fay Washington Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 99, Lona Fay Washington of Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Warren and Alice Henry Herndon; her spouse Corbet Washington; and her siblings, Mondel Herndon, Bill Herndon and Imogene Washington.
She is survived by: her brother Rodger Dale Herndon (Carole) of Cordova Tennessee; her daughter Paula Washington (Mike Clark) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Gordon Clark (Hannah) of Wabasso, Michael Clark, Jr. (Aly) of Edmond, Walker Clark and Truly Clark; and her great grandchildren, Lancaster, Willa Gray, Lachlan, Lawrence, Corbet, Winnie and Cooper. She is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home (270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pontotoc Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Pontotoc - Community Missions fund.
