Linda F. Cockerham Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda F. Cockerham (Dallas, Texas), born in Terrell, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hunt and Annice Hunt (Henderson); her husband Billy Jack Cockerham; her sister Patricia Cobb; and her stepchildren, Sue Huggins and Jeffrey Cockerham.

She is survived by: her stepsons, Billy Cockerham and Freddy Cockerham; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Dustin Smith; and her grandchildren, Joe Castillo, Katrina Johnson, Billy Cockerham, Jr., Freddy Cockerham, Jr., Stephanie Blalock, Lacie Huggins, Merrick Smith and Dalton Smith. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

When the world shutdown during the pandemic, her church family from Lewisville Bible Church kept her spirits up by mailing her weekly church bulletins and many, many sweet cards and letters.
