He is survived by: his wife Jean T. Bruce; his son Leland M. Bruce of Dallas, Texas; and his siblings, Willie Nathan Bruce, Royles Bruce, Betty Edwards, Earsilene Fulton, Edna Burnet, Debra Murphy and Melissa Bruce.
