He was predeceased by: his father Dallas Transit Authority. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Tompkins Young; his daughters, Lynda Young Kaffie (Harris) and Debra Young Hatch (Rick); his grandchildren, Morgan Sims Kaffie and Madlyn Hatch Sullivan (Taylor); his great grandchild James MacDonald Sullivan (Mac); and his caregivers, Reyna Zapata, Anna Hilario, Anahi Garcia, Maggie Ware, Meli Garcia, Patricia Munoz and Maggie Blanton.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Presbyterian Church (3707 Santa Fe St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411).
