She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Thompson and Charles Thompson; her sisters, Nancy Thompson and Susan Bailey; her brothers-in-law, Jim Cloudt and Leslie Franklin Adams; and her nephew Jack Cloudt.

She is survived by: her husband Sam Estess; her children, Charisse Sabath (Bruce), Lindsay Kuykendall (Klint), Trace Estess (Camila), Abby Funnell and Randall Estess (Keely); her sister Janet Cloudt; her siblings-in-law, Kelly Northam, Penny Estess Adams-Davis and Sam Davis; and her grandchildren, Gabriel, Isaac, Gracie, Caleb, Alton, Archer, Sophia, Sammy, Charlie, Matilda, Avery and Randall Jr. (Bubba).
