We bid farewell to Kathy D. Woods of Dallas, Texas, born in Homer, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2024 at the age of 70. Kathy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Lewis and Mildred Lewis; and her siblings, Phelom Lewis, Gradist Lewis, Phradist Lewis, Denise Lewis, Gwendolyn Lewis and Wendolyn Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Loeta McCowan (Ramon) and Michael Woods (Erika); her grandchildren, Michayla Woods, Reice McCowan, Jaxon McCowan, Leea Woods and Michael Woods II; and her sisters, Doris Clark (Charles), Marilyn Jackson and Jenise Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (6449 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
