She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Eugene and Georgia Willding; and her niece Devon Noble Jefferson. She is survived by: her husband Rex Claybourne Carter; her daughter Lauren Rose Pomara Shekari (Darius); her granddaughters, Camille Noble "Millie" Shekari and Eleanor Ivy "Nora" Shekari; her sisters, Teresa Diane Willding, Elizabeth Elaine Robbins (Danny), Patricia Ann Rhea and Janice Christine Kolb (John); her nieces and nephews, Rachel Elizabeth Robinson (Nicholas), Thomas Gabriel Robbins (Gabrielle), Davis Allen Rhea (Rachel), Bug Robbins, John Phillip Thomas Jefferson and Nathaniel Key Kolb IV; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kathleen Rhea Robinson, Harper Jane Robinson, Cash Wyllis Robinson, Margot Elizabeth Robbins and Olive Robbins of Georgia.
