Karin Charlotte Cole Obituary
Karin Charlotte Cole passed peacefully away on April 1, 2019. Karin was born on March 4, 1935 in Bremen, Germany as the oldest of four siblings to her parents Heninrich and Albertina Ahlring. She moved to the U.S. in 1958, attended Rhodes College and was selected by TWA as an international flight attendant during which time she traveled the world and met her husband, Clifford W. “Bill” Cole. Karin was a U.S. citizen and loved the State of Texas. An avid volunteer, she donated her time to numerous organizations and was active in the Clipped Wings Society, The International Society and The Dallas Theater Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cole, and is survived by her son, Gregory Cole and his wife Sara and daughter Grace of Dallas, TX; her daughter Kija von Ruemker and her husband Andreas and their children Noah and Charlotte of Bad Homburg, Germany. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on April 24, 2019 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas, TX. The family requests any charitable donations in her memory be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
