She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel David Hayes, Sr. and Arlee Hayes (Tubbs); her siblings, Johnny Hayes, Gerald Hopkins and Burdell Dawkins; her grandson Taylor Forest; and her son C. Dameron Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Sayles Scott; her son Charles Dameron (Cerina); her niece Dana Renae; her grandchildren, Charles Cabo and Caleesi Cyan; her children, Demetria Scott-Forest, Sonya Scott-Wiley and Dana Scott; her daughter-in-law Cerina; her grandchildren, Charles Cabo Scott and Caleesi Cyan Scott; her brothers, Samuel Hayes, Jr. and Donald Hayes (LoWanda); and her siblings-in-law, Priscilla Kelly (George), Ophelia Grant (Richard), Jim Scott (Glendora), BJ Scott, Mike Scott and Gene Scott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
