She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Edwards, Jr. and Iola Richards Edwards; and her brother Joseph Edwards, III. She is survived by : her siblings, Gloria Edwards Balthazar and Earl James Edwards; her daughters, Debra Elaine Harper Robertson and Deadres Chere Harper Jones (Benny); her sister-in-law Ernestine Foreman (Clarence); and her godson Chauncey Grant. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends.

A committal service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Singing Hills Funeral Home (6221 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241).
