He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Moreno and Luz Sifuentes Moreno; and his siblings, Tomas Moreno (Felicitas Limon), Herbert (Bertha Tamayo), Daniel (Tommie Dale Vincent), Carlos (Otila Garza), Jesse (Carmen Tamayo) and Gloria Moreno.

He is survived by: his sons, Adrian Jose Moreno and Marco Antonio Moreno (Stephanie Makumi Moreno); his wife Alicia Garza Moreno; his grandsons, Jabari Jose Moreno and Leo Moreno; and his siblings, Lidia Moreno, Olivia Moreno (Leandro Balandran) and Julio Moreno (Mary Tamayo).
