He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hampton Null and Bill Graham; and his siblings, Jack Marshall, Vicki Oaks and Rebecca Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Taylor of Temple; his children, LaShema Taylor (Shantwan) of McKinney and Jon Taylor Jr. (Marshell) of Odessa; his grandchildren, Javonte Tapley, JaKuvie Taylor, Zachary Gadison, Sydni Mahdee, Jacamie Taylor-Carillo (Melissa), Myrai-Janae Taylor, John Smith, Jhream Wilkins and Jon Taylor III; and his siblings, La Merle Young (Charles) of Odessa, James Ricks of Odessa and Charles Ricks of Odessa. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
