He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jack and Lois Johnson; his wife Lillie Ruth Johnson; his aunt Vera Johnson; his daughter Sharon Allen; and his siblings, Wanda F. Stewart, Shirley Cooper and Oscar Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Carlton K. Johnson (Joyce) and Tonya Johnson-Mikel (Walter); his brothers, Micheal Leon Johnson and Larry Johnson (Florida); his sister-in-law Alice Willis; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Allen (Tamara), Carlos Johnson (Kristi), Christopher Johnson, Courtney Johnson, Keith Johnson, Tyler Johnson-Mikel and Shana Allen. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
