He was predeceased by: his mother Ora Wooten; and his brothers, Erskine Wooten and Edward Wooten, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Edward Wooten; his wife Joyce Wooten; his daughters, Joylonna Burgoyne, Juandalynn Jenkins and Jennifer Wooten; his sisters, Elenor Clark, Ora Key, Burma Sims (Ann) and Margie Curry; and his friend John.
