He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Reuben Putman (Hazel Leveille Putman) and Mike; his brother Frederick Reuben Putman Jr.; his son John Michael Putman Jr. (Sarah); his grandchildren, Katie Faye, Avery and Jack; his daughter Amanda Putman Zehavi; his grandchildren, Nathan and Hazel; his son Benjamin Putman (Hana); his grandsons, Benjamin Jr. and James; his stepdaughter Molly Tranchin (Matt); his stepgrandchildren, River, Koda and Jagger; his cousin William "Billy" Sheehy (Ann); and also Jill. He was also cherished by other family members, colleagues, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Dallas Zoo, where Mike was a proud supporter, active in the primate fertility program, or to the charity of your choice.
