We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2023, at the age of 90, John Hamshire Williams of Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Sally Perry (family: Anne) of Pecos. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Smith of Fort Worth; his daughter Elizabeth Williams Sharp (Geoffrey); his son-in-law Tim Williams (Mary) of Fredericksburg; his children, Alexandra Becker (Alex) of Austin, TX, Nicole of Garmisch, Malia of Austin, Hamill of Houston, Marshall Williams (Elizabeth Verhalen) of Houston and Aspen; his grandchildren, Caroline and Johnny (Samantha Pappas); his great grandchildren, Anthony Vallone and Ashley Chambers (Colin); his daughter Eloise Vallone (Andrew Vallone); his siblings, Sam Williams of Captain, U. S, Naval Reserves (Beth) of Austin and Mary Harrison of Lubbock; and his nephews, Mike Rehmet (Gina) of Clinton, MS and Christopher Rehmet (Claire) of Sherman.
