He was predeceased by: his mother June Lowe Magee; and his sister Ann Adair Harbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Nolan; his son Fred; his daughter-in-law Amber; his grandchildren, Demitri and Zoe; and his brother-in-law Richard Harbaugh.

“Johnny, you will never know how much I will miss you. All our visits through the years have been wonderful and you have left me with memories I'll never forget. It was always exciting to be flying up to visit you and Sherry. Shopping in Neiman Marcus, eating out at wonderful restaurants in Addison. Celebrating two anniversary parties and Christmas was the thrill of my life. Acapulco on New Years Eve was also a hoot. So much to remember. God bless your family, I'm so sorry for your loss.”
