He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ferrell and Mamie Ferrell (Moore); and his wife Adrienne Ferrell. He is survived by: his son John Ferrell, Jr. (Karen); his grandson Ian Thomas Ferrell (Christina); his great grandchildren, Miriam and Vivian; and his brother Ray Ferrell.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the White's Funeral Home (105 Denver Trail, Azle, TX 76020). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
