With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John C. O'Brien Jr. (Dallas, Texas), born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Esther O'Brien; his sister Josephine; his son-in-law Sean Kennedy Sr.; and his grandson John C. "Jack" O'Brien IV.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer, John and Todd; his wife Sarah Ann Roye; his grandchildren, Jennifer Kennedy, John III, Gina O'Brien, Todd and Vicki O'Brien; and his siblings, Patte Freehan, Rita (Rick Rewiski), Tim (Diane O'Brien), Dan (Karen O'Brien) and Michael O'Brien.

He leaves behind a legacy of excellence, love, faith, charity, and devotion.
