He was predeceased by: his parents, Gumezindo Pena and Petra "Betty" Lopez Pena; and his siblings, Santos, Toribio, Felix, Martha, Lupe and Rachel.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Lopez; his daughter Kimberly Lopez; and his granddaughter Kiana Ja'nae Lopez. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
