He is survived by: his children, Steven A. Jones (MaryLinda), Patrick Scott Jones (Polly) and Carolyn S. Spurgin (Newt); and his grandchildren, Elisa Thompson (Jeremy), Robin Maher (Josh), Colton Spurgin (Vantanee), Jordan Jefferson (LaVontae), Betsy Hawkins (Garrett) and Grant Spurgin. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many more beloved family members and close friends.
