It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerald Smith of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jerald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jerald. Though Jerald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Pauline Estell Bailey; his wife Cressan Smith; his children, Micaela Marie Krusemark and Christopher J. Cresswell Smith; and his former spouses, Linda Smith and Matthew Norman Smith. He was also cherished by his 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (3811 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219). A reception will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 4615 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75206.
