It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Fortenbury in Dallas, Texas, born in Hunt, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Julian and Mable Julian; her siblings, Jerrel, Ted, Billy, Ray, Clifton Julian (Dickey) and Doris Snider; and her sons, David (Sherryl), Dan and Mike.
She is survived by: her sisters, Nelda Barker, Marita Wilson and Vita Givens (Leonard); and her son Jeff Fortenbury. She is also survived by six grandchildren including their spouses; eleven great-grandchildren including their spouses; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the American Kidney Fund of Dallas.
