She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hughes and Ruth Hughes; and her siblings, Barbara Howard and Don Hughes. She is survived by: her significant other Jim Cheshier; her stepdaughter Deborah Cheshier; her nieces, Kathy Crisp (Greg), Kelly Fagan (Steve), Amber Hughes and Autumn Randles (Zack); her sister-in-law Danell Hughes; and her great-nephews, Tommy and Jimmy Crisp. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jean's name to the SPCA.
