He is survived by: his wife Barbara Owen; his son Darrell Owen; his grandchildren, Christy Johnson (Jason) and Elizabeth Rodriquez (Andrew); and his great grandchild Jacob Johnson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 3:25 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75081).
