He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Albert Belt and Hattie Velma Morgan Belt; his sisters, Velma Carney and Marie Chiles; and his son-in-law Bill Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Belt of Dallas; and his daughters, Peggy Evans of Mesquite and Rhonda Barrientos (Andy) of Irving. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Springs Fellowship Church (817 Holcomb Rd, Dallas, TX 75217). A committal service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232).
