He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Averitte and Nova Averitte; his wife June Storrs; and his brothers, Eddie and Glenn Averitte.

He is survived by: his children, Cathy (Mark Lawson) and Jimmy (Josie Averitte).

Alzheimer's finally has no more hold on his life.
