He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Jack Cloyes (Buell) and Robert Cloyes; his grandparents, Albert Dunlevy, Ruth Belle Buell (Shipman), Harry J. and Katherine Rowena Cloyes (Jarrett); and his cousins, Hal Buell (Kathy) and Larry Buell.

He is survived by: his cousins, Jack Buell (Connie), Betty Dodgen (David), Jill Jackson (Jerry), Toni Saunders (Kevin) and Cheryl Buell.
