He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Wohletz and Juanita Burns; and his brother Greg Wohletz. He is survived by: his sister Linda Lackey; his wife Dianne Wohletz; his son Chris Wohletz (Svitlana Pantsyr); his grandson Bohdan Wohletz of Denton, TX.; his daughter Lorhonda Wohletz Frady (Jimmy Frady); his granddaughters, Heather Frady and Erica Frady Couch; his great grandchildren, Daxton, Forrest and Waylon of Cleveland; his stepson Kirk Garner (Becca Garner); his granddaughters, Michal, Marcie and Mindy Garner of Colorado Springs; his sisters-in-law, Linda Lackey of Irving, TX and Claudia Rivers of El Paso, TX.; his nephew Eric Lackey (Emily); his great-nephews, Nathan, Caleb Lackey of Irving and Raymond Scott Lackey of Albuquerque; his brother-in-law Byron Garner of Ogden; his niece Lisa Garner Rusch (Rusty); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Isabella, Matthew and Ben of Fort Collins; and also, Candace Garner Davis (Chris), Katie and Kallee of Piedmont, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by many friends, neighbors.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice. Jim often donated to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Foundation, Elks National Foundation, Disabled American Veterans, and North Texas Food Bank.
