He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Wolf Levy and Milton P. Levy Sr.; his former wife Meryl Palan Levy; and his brothers, Lester A. Levy and Milton P. Levy Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Joan Schnitzer Levy; his sons, Robert Milton Levy (Michael Clifford) and John Irvin Levy (Carol); his grandchildren, Katherine, Allen, Anne and Michael; his sister-in-law Adrienne Palan Gold; his grandchildren, Lauren, Douglas, Johnathan, Robert and Stephen; and also, Kenneth Schnitzer and Douglas Schnitzer (Melissa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Irvin L. Levy Fund at The Dallas Museum of Art or The Southwestern Medical Foundation.
