Though Ira may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ira touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Alin Borchardt and Mary Randerson Borchardt; and his siblings, Bobbie Borchardt, Billie Metcalf (Borchardt) and Marifloyd Berry (Borchardt).
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Borchardt (Maxwell); his sons, Ira Jr. of Garland, TX, Randy of Illinois, Rick (Gina) of Rockwall and Dwayne Borchardt; and his niece Kay Chamberlain (Metcalf, family: Linda Gail Martin, Donna Sue Martin).
