He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony Rauscher and Sarah Rauscher; his spouse Kathryn Ann Laun; his children, Laura Sandate (Martin), Paul Rauscher (Elena) and Mark Rauscher (Leslie); and his sister Jeannette Patasius (Donald). He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

Ilo passed March 4th, 10 days before his 83rd birthday, after succumbing to complications from Alzheimer's, which he valiantly battled for 6 yrs.
