He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Pruitt and Rutha Mae Pruitt; his spouse Luerania Pruitt (White); and his siblings, Hardy Pruitt, Jr., Myria, Nancy, Howard and Andrew.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Lynn (Jerry) and Leta Gail; his grandsons, Jeremy Scott (Denise) and Corey Lynn; his great grandchild Vivienne; and his close friend Barbara Hutchinson. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews, and close family friends.
