He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Garrett and Arlee Garrett; his wife Berneice; and his siblings, Jim Henry Garrett, R. C. Garrett, Blossie Jackson, Virvus Williams and Gracie Wright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Annette Bozman (Don) of Garland and Carla Jo Allen (Claiborne) of Waxahachie; his grandchildren, Evan Houston Bozman of Richardson, Benjamin Garrett Allen and Rachel Renee Allen of Waxahachie, Texas.; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Hobbs, Hommye Zell Bonner, Evelyn Davis and David Davis of Waco Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
