He was predeceased by: his father Herman Rice; and his brother David Rice. He is survived by: his mother Bobbie Rice (Pittman) of Eustace, TX; his siblings, Lorranna Allen of Eustace, TX, Rhenda Skinner (Bobby) of Quinlan, TX, Caryl Cook of Dallas, TX and Douglas Rice (Juddie) of Ft. Worth, TX; his nephew Chris Allen of Eustace, TX; and his cousin Elaine Meiners of Illinois. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
